Views of the Tiber River

I recently was in Rome for some urgent family matters. Fortunately, I had the chance to get a nice walk on the Tiber riverside. Being so close to the flowing river was a nice and relaxing experience. From the so called “Lungotevere” street, you just have to walk down few steps and out of sudden you are no more surrounded by the stressful traffic you usually find in the center of Rome. Instead, you are fully deep in the soul of the river, with its slow but strong flowstream, the yellowish color of the water and the muddy banks, sign of a recent overflow. In addition, from the river bank you get an unusual but fascinating perspective of Rome’s bridges. If you are going to there, a walk on the Tiber riverside is definitely a must, enjoy it!

Rome – The Eternal City

A wonderful sunny and warm day in November in the “The Eternal City”, the perfect combination for a good street photography session. All pictures have been taken with my iPhone 4s and edited with Instagram later on.
