Impressions from Nepal

With the help of the awesome siteĀ myalbum.com, I have created a new album on my trip to Nepal back in 2014 where we had the chance to visit not only Kathmandu but we made our way to Chitwan National Park, Pokhara, Lumbini and the Annapurna region. You can have a look at the album following this link.

Mondoglobalworld’s statistic for 2014!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 830 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 14 trips to carry that many people.

The Glacier Experience

During my recent trip to Alaska, I spent several days on the Kenai Peninsula and during my stay in Seward, I had the chance to spend an incredible day on the Exit Glacier. This glacier is a derivation from the Harding Icefield in the Kenai Mountains and it received its name because it served as the exit for the first recorded crossing of the Harding Icefield in 1968.

The Exit Glacier is especially notable for being a drive up glacier through a sideĀ road coming from the small town of Seward, known to be the base for all excursions to the Kenai Fjords National Park. The trip was arranged through the amazing guys of the Seward based guiding and hiking company, Exit Glacier Guides.
